Our DBT Skills Training Groups provide practical tools in a supportive, small-group environment. Unlike a process group, DBT skills groups are instructional, and therapist-led. Educational and structured, these groups offer hands-on learning with the support of peers who are navigating similar challenges. DBT Skills groups are ideal for individuals who want to build new, positive habits, improve relationships, and handle stress more effectively. Participants often say they appreciate learning alongside others who “get it.”

In the DBT Skills Group, we cover
four essential areas of emotional wellness:

1. Mindfulness

Learning to stay present and focused

2. Distress Tolerance

Getting through tough moments without making them worse

3. Emotion Regulation

Managing intense feelings and reactions

4. Interpersonal Effectiveness

Communicating clearly and maintaining healthy boundaries

You’ll leave each session with actionable strategies to apply immediately in your daily life. Participants often find strength and validation in hearing how others use DBT tools in real-world situations.
