Being a human being is hard. Everyone could benefit from a place to be unashamedly, unabashedly themselves, struggles and all. I am a warm, compassionate therapist who truly believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Above all else, I am a human being who experiences joy and suffering just like everybody else. I’m passionate about utilizing evidence-based techniques (such as DBT, CBT, and ACT) combined with my own humanity to help others reach their goals.

I offer a safe, judgement-free zome that allows others to truly be themselves. I meet others where they are and provide unconditional positive regard to everyone who walks through the door.  I enjoy using the power of humor and laughter to forge real, human connections. I’m easy-going and easy to talk to, which I believe are essential to forging a genuine relationship.

We will work together in a collaborative manner to help you reach your goals and find your true self. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m looking forward to being a participant in the journey of your life!

Life can be rocky–let’s talk about it! I enjoy working with adolescents and individuals needing help with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, low self-esteem, communication problems and trauma.

I offer a client-centered, strengths-based approach, utilizing  a proven set of skills to calm anxiety, regulate thoughts and emotions, and find mindful awareness. We will work together to explore harmful patterns and unwanted negative emotions, and we will learn more effective patterns for coping, as well as master the skills to help you move forward with freedom and intention.

My goal as a therapist is to provide you with a non-judgemental space to help you feel safe, accepted and understood. I’m here to help you identify and work towards your goals for a more fulfilled and meaningful life. You can expect warmth, collaboration, honesty and lots of humor.

A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because their trust is not on the branch
but their ability to fly. -Author Unknown.

There will be times the branch breaks out from underneath you: anxiety, depression, addiction, ruminative thoughts, grief, trauma, loss of relationships, or loss of enjoyment of life. These can make one feel as
though they are in a free fall. Psychotherapy can help. Mindfulness and DBT skills can help you believe in yourself and restore trust in your ability to fly.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families that are experiencing hardships. I use a combination of Mindfulness, DBT, and CBT to provide individuals with coping skills they need to positively
navigate any challenge they may face. Using a narrative, client-centered approach, I can identify the ineffective habits that keep you feeling stuck. Understanding what is going on in our minds and bodies can bring awareness of our emotions and reactions. We can work together to reconnect your mind and body in ways that enhance relationships with those most important to you. I offer a non-judgmental space for you to
realize your deepest desires and together we can help you achieve the life you want to live, a life truly worth living.

I look forward to hearing what makes you…YOU!
